Conference Venue
 
The conference will be held at the University of Edinburgh (5-7 June).
 
The University of Edinburgh events will be take place in the School for Languages, Literature and Cultures, 50 George Square, Edinburgh, EH8 9LH.
 
The drinks reception on Thursday 5 June will be held at the Edinburgh Futures Institute, 1 Lauriston Place, EH3 9EF.
 
All conference panel rooms are located on the ground floor, and are wheelchair-accessible.

The University of Edinburgh provides the following guidance on travelling to and around the university campus. (NB the conference is held is the “Central Area” of campus.)

Travelling to Edinburgh
 
The closest train stations to the conference venue are Edinburgh Waverley and Edinburgh Haymarket.
 
The closest airport to the conference venue is Edinburgh airport Edinburgh Airport. You can travel from Edinburgh Airport to the city centre by tram, bus, or taxi.

Accommodation

There are many accommodation options near the university campus, located in the Old Town, and in the wider city of Edinburgh. These range from expensive upmarket hotels to Airbnb and more affordable guest houses in the Newington area (near the conference venue). Edinburgh is very well-connected by bus and tram routes, so most accommodation options are likely to be within easy travelling distance of the conference venue.
